At Angel Wings and Things Poultry Rescue, our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home for as many poultry as possible. Our poultry are provided the highest quality diet and health care, as well as an environment in which they can thrive. We also provide education on topics such as health care, sanitary housing options, breed conservation, and animal welfare reform.
OUR MISSION
At Angel Wings and Things Poultry Rescue, we make it our mission to provide permanent habitats and care for special needs birds. We adopt out birds that are ready for new homes and offer free care to all birds in need.

OUR FOUNDER
Jamie, the rescue founder, has dedicated her life to these sweet animals by volunteering her time to their every need. She has a deep passion for poultry and their well being. A lot of hard work and time has been put into providing a safe place for poultry to come and live a happy, healthy life. Once the word got out about the amazing work Jamie was doing, the rescue began to quickly grow with more requests for help for poultry in need of homes and in need of health care. Since then, the rescue has expanded and now provides education for poultry owners about nutrition and proper care.
Jamie has also started a breeding program, focusing on heritage breed birds that are on the conservation watch list. "We acquire birds displaying the best genetic traits possible to reproduce and preserve the breeds according to their original breed standards." -Jamie.
ADOPTION AGREEMENT
When adopting from us you will need to agree and understand the following:
You hereby agree that you will not use this animal in any sort of fighting or cruelty. You will love and care for this animal for the rest of its life, and you are ready to commit to that. You will provide predator proof housing and a safe habitat to protect the animal from severe weather conditions (rain, extreme heat, cold, etc.) You agree and understand that these animals will NEVER BE USED AS FOOD! You also agree, that if for any circumstances you can no longer provide love and care for this animal, you will contact us (Angel Wings And Things Poultry Rescue) and bring back the animal to the rescue. By adopting from Angel Wings and Things Poultry Rescue you are agreeing to and understanding the risks of the animal possible having further health issues, as for these animals are rescued, their health history is unknown. Angel Wings And Things will not be liable for these possible health issues. Angel Wings And Things Poultry Rescue ARE NOT license veterinarians, but will provide health care for the adopted animal to the best of their ability.
